Another glorious day aboard the Argo
Joseph amidships skinning up sniffs
his pores open
Ship’s Radio sings in Gold of Love
and the hero agrees.
Pad-pad pad-pause
Ship’s Cat smells
the smell of a woman
winning at cards and other things
Pads on, and curls up on something shiny
down in the hold.
Day dawns, and it's raining over the Argo again
Slanted voices are backing Radio Blue
What in hell does he think he is doing?
