Nagihan Haliloglu was born in Istanbul, educated in Turkey, England and Germany, and is a Jean Rhys scholar, freelance translator and lecturer at the Bilim Sanat Foundation in Istanbul. Her study on Jean Rhys has recently come out with Rodopi.

Roni Margulies was born in Istanbul and decided in 1972 to read Economics in London. He has written poetry since 1991 and has translated work by Ted Hughes and Philip Larkin into Turkish. He lives in London and Istanbul.
